"This is a song about finding the strength and determination to make a change. It's about finding the courage to fight back when life deals you a rough hand.
One afternoon, while I was walking in the rain, I noticed how vivid the rocks and pebbles looked when they were wet... How the rain really brought out their colours. This reminded me of silver linings and how sometimes, in order to recognize our true potential, we need to weather a few storms.
With that in mind, I was inspired to write this song."
Everything’s so vivid when the rain comes down
Not so very timid when the clouds come ‘round
But I can see my colours more clearly now
And I am soothed by the sound
Lately I’ve been triggered by such silly things
Now it’s time I figure I should mend my wings
‘Cause I’m so sick of hearing ‘bout how nobody wins
It’s ridiculous
Ooh, there’s fire in my eyes
I’m ready to shine
Oh, this fever in my mind is so vivid
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Hmm...
Everyone’s distracted by how they feel
Trying to break a habit of what isn’t real
And look at where we end up on this spinning wheel
No, I won’t accept that deal
Ooh, there’s fire in my eyes
I’m ready to shine
Oh, this fever in my mind is so vivid
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Ooh, yeah
Ooh... Oh, yeah...
Ooh, there’s fire in my eyes
I... I’m ready to shine
I’ve only got this one life
So, I’m gonna live it
Yeah, yeah
Ooh, there’s fire in my eyes
I’m ready to shine
Oh, this fever in my mind is so vivid
Yeah, yeah, yeah... (hmm)

Because she’s the best musician I know! I know her dad, who in my opinion was the best musician I knew until Abbie came along. If you know music she’s by far the most wonderful musician around. You need to hear her music.you will not be disappointed. uncleguy
